Arc Public Mainnet will launch on September 16, 2026.

This launch marks the next milestone for Arc as the Economic OS for the internet: an open platform purpose-built for financial markets, real-time money movement, and agentic economic activity. After operating in private mainnet with more than 100 ecosystem and institutional builders, Arc is nearly ready to open to the world.

What Arc is built for

Arc is designed to be the Economic OS for the internet: infrastructure where open, permissionless innovation and institutional-grade financial operations come together on a single network. From the start, Arc has been purpose-built for the demands and scale of the world’s financial markets, real-time money movement, and agentic economic activity: predictable fees payable in stablecoins (starting with USDC), sub-second transaction finality, and robust rails for agentic economic activity, FX, tokenized assets, stablecoin payments, and new internet-native financial applications.

The network is designed to meet the trust, compliance, and operational standards that critical infrastructure requires, while remaining open to the full range of developers and businesses building the next generation of finance.

Where Arc stands today

Arc is currently in private mainnet with over 100 ecosystem and institutional builders actively integrating with the network and stress-testing real-world use cases — from agentic economic activity and automated payments to stablecoin and tokenized asset issuance, global FX, and institutional-grade onchain markets. Their involvement reflects the depth of demand for infrastructure that can serve both institutional and open finance at scale.

Arc’s upcoming launch

On September 16, Arc will move to public mainnet and bring this infrastructure into a live production environment. At launch, Circle will unveil a product suite built around Arc as a platform, including a composable app framework for common onchain workflows, AI-powered tools for building applications and smart contracts, capabilities for deploying and managing tokenized real-world assets, and interfaces that help developers, users, and agents navigate the Arc ecosystem.

Arc will be secured by its founding validator cohort and supported by a broader ecosystem of institutions and builders; learn more about the validators, integrations, and applications taking shape ahead of mainnet.

In the coming weeks, we'll share more about the expanded ecosystem of day-one apps and services, launch partners, and what's debuting alongside mainnet.
